Perforce and Unreal Game Sync Setup
Robust version control solutions for Unreal Engine development.
Case Study
We configured and hosted a dedicated Perforce server on AWS to streamline version control.
In this project, Prismatic Studios assisted Liquid Static Studio in establishing a robust and scalable source control system to manage their Unreal Engine projects. This solution allowed for teamwide collaboration while ensuring secure, centralised data management.
We integrated Unreal Game Sync to provide intuitive project synchronisation.
With Unreal Game Sync (UGS) integrated into their CI pipeline, project contributors could easily sync and track changes, simplifying workflows and improving team efficiency.
We hosted a custom Unreal Engine build for seamless team access.
The source build of the Unreal Engine Editor was hosted on the Perforce server, allowing syncing through UGS for all contributors. This setup ensured that everyone on the team could work with the exact engine version needed for their projects, and any custom engine modifications were easily synced.
Key Features
